Produced by Kraig Lee of Kona Farm Direct entirely from trees of the coffea Liberica species, and processed by Miguel Meza by a proprietary method he calls “champagne natural.” The freshly picked coffee is fermented in the whole fruit with wine yeasts, then dried, still in the whole fruit. Liberica is a species of coffee native to central Africa and long cultivated in parts of Southeast Asia.
