Crisp, sweet lemon-toned aroma with hints of flowers, raisin and blackberry. Bright acidity, lightly syrupy body and flavors of tart lemon and black currant with a delicate floral element. Clean finish with lingering tart flavor notes.

A balanced and rather complex ultra dark roast. Intense, deeply smoky aroma, dominated by a charred wood character. By contrast the cup is relatively delicate and smooth with a lightly syrupy body and a gently charred cedar that, with patience, rounds toward caramel. Clean, richly roasty finish.

(As brewed in a Keurig B70 Platinum single-serve brewing device using a "K-Cup" capsule to produce a 6-ounce serving size): Muted aroma of orangey fruit, caramel and wood. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel and simple flavors: nut, raisin and caramel. Muted sweetness in the finish fades rather quickly to a mildly astringent nut-like character.
