Sweet, pungent, cleanly earth-toned. Honey, carob, malt, orange zest, lavender in aroma and cup. Round, deeply expressed acidity; syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor fades just a bit in an otherwise sweet finish.

Pungently sweet, buttery, complex. Richly layered berry-toned fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut in aroma and cup. Round, balanced acidity; deeply syrupy mouthfeel. Resonantly flavor-saturated finish. Our five cups were very slightly uneven, for which we deducted one point, but the general impact of this coffee was superb.

Softly pungent, delicately sweet and complex. Brown sugar, layered hints of sweet chocolate, cinnamon, blackberry, orange and flowers in aroma and cup. Softly tart acidity; rather light, silkily smooth mouthfeel. The delicate flavor notes consolidate but ring gently on in the long finish.

The crisp, understated fermented fruit notes suggest a pungent dry sherry with a backgrounded plum and night-flowers sweetness and a buttery, slightly savory edge. Brisk but juicy acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor fades a bit in a sweet but drying finish.

Delicately sweet roast-influenced profile. Mildly scorched cedar, raisin, hints of dark chocolate and cardamom in aroma and cup. Backgrounded, roast-rounded acidity; very lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Clean- and sweet-finishing with a continuing hint of chocolate.

Distinct chocolate and honey-and-nut notes (halvah?) in aroma and cup, with further hints of apricot and fir. Round, backgrounded acidity; buoyant and silky mouthfeel. Rich, deep finish, very mildly drying in the long.

Sweet-toned, crisply and delicately bright. Strawberry, orange, meadow flowers, roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Gently brisk acidity; light but very silky mouthfeel. Strawberry and cacao nib in particular carry into a tartly sweet finish.

Spectacular and juicy. The aroma starts quietly: orange, flowers, honey, a crisp hint of juniper. Round, sweet, brilliantly lively acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. In the cup lavish honey, orange, lychee, rose-like flowers, and a smoothing hint of chocolate. Rose and lychee in particular carry into a refreshing, resonant finish.

Richly and intensely floral throughout the profile, with supporting notes of crisp roasted cacao nib, cedar and apple. Round, sweet-toned, muted acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is impressive: long and deeply floral-toned.

Richly and tartly sweet, exotic, complex. Orange, honey and butter in aroma and cup, supported by a crisp backgrounded earth note. Round, gently tart acidity; syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor carries virtually intact into a long, ringing finish.

Reviewed as espresso. Quiet, round, chocolaty. Butter, dark chocolate, plum/apricot and a hint of raisin in aroma and small cup. Smooth, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. A hint of chocolate carries into a delicate, drying finish. In three parts milk the dark chocolate continues to dominate, with a backgrounded apricot-like fruit.

Sweet grain, hazelnut, hints of orange and strawberry in the aroma and, much more intensely, in the cup. Crisp, quietly lively acidity; very lightly creamy mouthfeel. The strawberry and orange notes faintly persist in a clean, straightforward finish.

Sweet-toned with an exotic shifting complexity. Golden sugar, tart apple, sweet plum, lush flowers, mixed spices (turmeric, tamarind, cumin), brandy, roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Richly juicy acidity; silky mouthfeel. Quietly but profoundly flavor-saturated finish.

Buttery caramel, earthy dark chocolate, lightly charred cedar, raisin in aroma and cup. Rich, pungent acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Chocolate and raisin in particular sustain in a bittersweet, gently drying finish.

(As brewed in a Keurig B70 Platinum single-serve brewing device using a Keurig-compatible capsule to produce a 6-ounce serving): Roundly bittersweet. Carob (or a woody chocolate), caraway seed, a hint of fresh earth in aroma and cup. Round, roast-muted acidity; heavyish mouthfeel. Some flavor survives in a drying finish.

Intense with distinct whisky-like notes. Dry, nut-toned chocolate, raspberry, rye whisky, fresh-cut fir in aroma and cup. Rich, delicately bittersweet acidity; silky, lively mouthfeel. The dry chocolate note in particular dominates in a crisp finish.

Rich, deep, pungently complex. Blackberry, cherry, fresh-cut fir, a hint of cinnamon bark in aroma and cup. Gently tart, juicy acidity; round, buttery mouthfeel. Floral notes emerge in a very sweet, long finish.

Distinct sweetly tart fruit notes (grapefruit, passion fruit, guava), pungent fresh-cut fir, with rounding hints of chocolate and plum in aroma and cup. Quiet, delicate acidity; light but smoothly silky mouthfeel. Sweet, long, gently flavor-saturated finish.

Gentle, sweetly tart, delicately complex. Honey, sweet citrus, nut butter, night-blooming flowers in aroma and cup. Soft acidity; leanish but quite silky mouthfeel. Pleasingly rich though rather short finish.

Sweet, floral, clean. Lavender and plum flower, honey, cherry, candied pecan in aroma and cup. Lightly bright and juicy acidity, creamy mouthfeel. The plum-blossom note in particular lingers in a sweet and persistent finish.
