Roast: Medium-Light Review Date: June 2012
Origin: Sidama (also Sidamo) growing region, southern Ethiopia. Price: HK $98/200 g.

Blind Assessment: Delicate but intense. Wild berry, lemon, rose, all rounded by a brown-sugary, faintly chocolate sweetness. Gentle, sweetly tart acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Rich, sweet finish with an underlying dry crispness.

Notes: This coffee is Fair Trade certified, meaning it was purchased from small-holding farmers at a "fair" or economically sustainable price. Based in Hong Kong, Fresh is a micro-roaster committed to offering artisanal small batch coffees freshly roasted to order. Visit www.hkcoffee.com for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Those who enjoy light-roasted coffees with brilliantly complex aromatics.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
