Blind Assessment
Balanced, deep-toned. Dark chocolate, praline, narcissus, tangerine, olive oil in aroma and cup. Sparkling acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Citrus and olive-like herbaceousness support a chocolaty finish.
Notes
Produced at Finca Churupampa, entirely of the Pacamara variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Utopian Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visit www.utopiancoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
This nuance washed Peru ranges from a cookie-like sweetness to a pretty aromatic herbaceousness — especially viscous body.
