Reviews for Temple Coffee and Tea
Aroma and flavor are lush yet crisply authoritative. Tartly sweet notes of berry and lemon, white floral notes and a hint of milk chocolate in both aroma and cup. Buoyantly juicy acidity, syrupy mouthfeel, long, sweet finish with continued suggestions of berry and milk chocolate.
Soft and balanced in the aroma with toasty notes of caramel, milk chocolate and nut. Rich acidity, silky mouthfeel and flavors that balance the sweet milk chocolate and nut complex with a softly tart, citrus-infused cocoa. Not a long finish, but a sweet one.
Nut and fresh-cut wood dominate the delicate aroma, softened by a hint of chocolate. In cup and finish the cocoaish chocolate becomes richer and more explicit, though a faint woody flatness (probably decaffeination-related) continues to haunt the cup. Attractive, lightly syrupy mouthfeel.
Rich, sweet-toned aroma: flowers, hints of earth, aromatic wood, nut-toned chocolate. In the cup low-toned but vibrant acidity, silky mouthfeel, continued earth tones that take on a grapefruit-like pungency under the impact of the acidity. Some continuing hints of flowers and nut. Rich, simple finish with a hint of astringency.
