Blind Assessment: Richly fruit-forward, chocolate-toned. Dried blueberry, chocolate fudge, gardenia, cashew, orange zest in aroma and cup. Deeply sweet with fruity acidity; plush, creamy mouthfeel. Chocolaty finish with blueberry and orange complication.
Notes: Southern Ethiopia coffees like this one are largely produced from distinctive indigenous Ethiopian landrace varieties of Arabica long grown in their respective regions. This is a dry-processed or “natural” version (coffee is dried inside the entire fruit).
