Blind Assessment: Full, deep, syrupy. Aromatic wood, dark chocolate, almond, orange in aroma and cup. Rich, roundly expressed acidity, big body. Long, sweet, slightly drying finish saturated with dark chocolate and orange.
Notes: The acronym SHG (Strictly High Grown) is a grade designation for the highest grade of Nicaragua coffee. This classic Nicaragua combines coffees from the admired Matagalpa and Jinotega growing regions blended by the exporter in green, unroasted form.
