Blind Assessment
Fruit-centric, richly floral. Strawberry, blackberry, star jasmine, lemon meringue, cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Winy acidity; very smooth, richly silky mouthfeel. Concentrated, berry-focused finish with ballast from cocoa nib and star jasmine.
Notes
Produced by Eulises Guzman, entirely of the Pink Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “Let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A knockout Pink Bourbon farmed by Colombia’s Eulises Guzman and roasted by JBC to bring out notes of complex berries and spice-toned florals.
