Blind Assessment

Rich, deep, pungently sweet in aroma and cup: orange, dark chocolate, raisin, a luxurious hint of citrus blossom. Quiet, round acidity; full mouthfeel. Flavor fades in the short finish but recovers and extends impressively in the long.

Notes

Produced mainly from trees of the admired, Bourbon-derived SL 28 and SL 34 varieties, with 10% from the hybrid Ruiru 11 cultivar. This coffee is grown by the over eight hundred members of the Rutuma FCS cooperative Society and processed at the Karie wet mill. Paradise Roasters prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed.
