Blind Assessment: Sweet, pungent, triumphantly juicy. Honey, very sweet-toned, fresh-cut fir, night-blooming flowers and a zesty orange note in aroma and cup. Brightly sweet, lush acidity; big, syrupy mouthfeel. Deep, quietly flavor-saturated finish.
Notes: Ka'u is a newly emerging Hawaii coffee growing district centered thirty miles or so southeast of the famous Kona region. This 100% Ka’u coffee was developed by Miguel Meza and Lorie Obra of Isla Custom Coffees. Paradise Roasters specializes in micro-lot coffees and espressos from Hawaii and other premier coffee growing regions. The company prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit
Who Should Drink It: Classic honey, aromatic fir, flowers and citrus notes on steroids; intense, juicy, complete.
