Blind Assessment: Pungent night flowers, lemon and a molasses-like dark chocolate dominate in aroma and cup. All simplifies slightly in the finish. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel, gentle, almost muted acidity.
Notes: This coffee was purchased from Finca Santa Ana, the same farm that produced the fourth-place prize-winning coffee in the 2010 Guatemala Cup of Excellence competition. Who Should Drink It : Chocolate in the garden: a richly floral and vegetal version of one of our favorite sensations.
