Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, cocoa-toned. Dark chocolate, dried apricot, hazelnut, freesia-like flowers, maple syrup in aroma and cup. Balanced, sweet structure with high-toned acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. The finish is crisply chocolaty with undertones of dried apricot and hazelnut.
Notes
Produced in the Bench-Maji Zone of southern Ethiopia, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). CoffeeBox Coffee founders Godfrey and Coco focus on small-batch coffee roasting with the goal of making the joy of premium coffee accessible to everyone. Visit shop.coffeebox.tw for more information.
Bottom Line
A cleanly natural-processed Ethiopia centered around notes of cocoa-toned fruit and spicy florals.
