Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Nut-toned caramel and dark chocolate with hints of lemon-like tart fruit and a faint glimmer of fresh mint in aroma and cup. Syrupy mouthfeel; chocolate-toned finish with a tart edge. Delicate in two parts milk, where the chocolate and sweet citrus notes complement one another nicely.
Notes: Paradise Roasters designed this medium-dark roasted espresso blend specifically for the American café market. Paradise Roasters prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed. Its metaphoric mission is to bring some paradisiacal warmth from the coffee-growing south to the cool environs of Minnesota. Visit
Who Should Drink It : Those who favor full-bodied, syrupy porter-style ales in particular should enjoy the straight shot.
