Blind Assessment: Deeply sweet-savory, complex, layered. Asian pear, rhododendron, pomelo, Nutella, candied walnut in aroma and cup. Richly bittersweet structure with gently bright acidity; plush, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Resonant, long, flavor-laden finish.
Notes: Produced by Sergio Ticas of Finca Los Planes entirely of the Pacamara variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method. The Bottom Line: A compelling, complex, rich-toned Pacamara cup from El Salvador — classically bittersweet and elegantly nuanced.
