Blind Assessment
Delicate but pungent, lightly savory. Black cherry, pine, clove, zesty tangerine in aroma and cup. Crisp, buoyant acidity. Light, silky mouthfeel. Clove and tangerine animate a dry though resonant finish.
Notes
Produced from the respected Caturra and Catuai varieties of Arabica. This is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the beans immediately after harvesting and before drying. Bottom Line
Quietly original Costa Rica: subtle fruit deepened and complicated by a crisp, savory edge led by clove and pine.
