Blind Assessment: Bright, juicy, high-toned. Guava, almond butter, wild honey, tangerine zest, narcissus-like flowers in aroma and cup. Richly sweet, elegantly tart structure with high-toned, vibrant acidity; very full, syrupy mouthfeel. The long, lingering, flavor-saturated finish carries forward all the notes from the cup.
Notes: Produced by Wilfredo Trujillo Mota of Finca Los Alpes entirely of the Pink Bourbon variety of Arabica and processed by the honey method. The Bottom Line: A lush, balanced, juicy-sweet Pink Bourbon from Colombia, lyrical in its balance and elegance.
