Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso produced as a ristretto 25ml (.85-ounce) shot by a Nespresso capsule espresso brewer with whole milk heated using a conventional steam wand. Gently bright, cleanly crisp. Pear, roasted cacao nib, fresh-cut fir, a hint of wisteria-like flowers in aroma and small cup. Smooth though rather lean mouthfeel. The cacao-nib note in particular lingers in a delicate finish and predictably sweetens and rounds toward chocolate in three parts milk.
Notes: Produced in Berlin, Germany by the Berliner Kaffeerösterei. Visit www.gourmesso.com or email [email protected] for more information.
Who Should Drink It: Nespresso capsule machine owners who enjoy delicate, sweetly bright espresso with a quiet, chocolaty presence in short milk. Best at the ristretto setting.
