Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Crisply chocolaty, rich-toned. Baking chocolate, scorched mesquite, freesia, date, cashew in aroma and cup. Crisp, velvety mouthfeel; sweetly smoky, chocolaty finish. Chocolaty, nut-toned finish. In cappuccino format, rich, almost fudgelike chocolate predominates.
Notes
A blend of coffees from Honduras, Nicaragua and Thailand (both Arabica and Robusta), roasted for espresso applications. Paradise prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 808-498-4048 for more information.
Bottom Line
A deftly dark-roasted blend with central notes of baking chocolate and a throughline of sweet, creamy cashew, supported by an inviting, sweet smokiness.
