Deeply sweet/savory yet delicate and vibrant. Grapefruit zest, brown sugar, hazelnut, rhododendron-like flowers, a hint of musk in aroma and cup. Roundly and resonantly brisk in structure; plump and full in mouthfeel. Nut, brown sugar and grapefruit carry into a quiet, balanced finish.
Produced from trees of the heirloom Bourbon and respected Caturra varieties of Arabica and processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying) by grower Luis Pedro Zelaya Zamora in the celebrated Antigua Valley of Guatemala. A very distinctive and original Guatemala, fusing sweet/savory depth with delicate, lively nut and floral aromatics.
