Reviews for Boyds Coffee
Intense, complex aroma: flowers, ripe lemon, lemon zest, with a rounding hint of stone fruit, apricot perhaps. Delicate, balanced acidity; lean but silky mouthfeel. The floral notes recede in the cup and a crisp, lemony cocoa develops, carrying into a sweet-toned finish.
Soft, delicately muted coffee. Sweet cocoa, bittersweet dark chocolate and nut in the aroma. In the cup backgrounded acidity and flavors of fruit, aromatic wood and continued chocolate. Simple but sweet finish.
Seductive aroma: sweet Meyer lemon, roasty chocolate, balanced and elegant. The lyric lemon and chocolate notes survive a sharp roastiness in the cup, but finally lose their way in the rather astringent finish.
