Blind Assessment
Richly sweet-savory. Ripe tomato, red currant, candied walnut, cedar, narcissus in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; plush, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Resonant, flavor-saturated, very long finish.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of the SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian varieties of Arabica, and processed by the washed method at the Kii Factory. Dou Zhai Coffee & Roastery is a Taiwan-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit www.douzhaicafe.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A deep-toned, richly savory Kenya with a multilayered sweet-savory structure and nuanced fruit and floral notes.
