Opulent, huge, sweet, juicy. Honey, flowers (lavender, lilac), mango, blood orange, roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Balanced, juicy acidity; syrupy mouthfeel. Rich, long, deeply flavor-saturated finish.

Notes

This exceptional coffee was selected as the #21 coffee on Coffee Review's ranking of the Top 30 Coffees of 2014.  Produced from trees of the rare Ethiopia-derived botanical variety “Gesha” or “Geisha” grown by farmer Jose David Garrido on the Mama Cata Estate. With its elongated beans and distinctive floral and chocolate cup, the Gesha variety continues to distinguish itself as one of the world’s most unique coffees. “Natural” process means the beans were dried inside the fruit rather than after removal of the fruit. Geisha Coffee Roaster is a Florida-based Internet retailer offering a wide selection of coffees from around the world. The company has family ties to coffee farms in Panama; nevertheless, the company name should not be confused with the Geisha or Gesha coffee variety, the particularly costly, distinguished variety of Arabica also associated with Panama. Visit www.geishacoffee.com or call 407-409-8704 for more information.

Who Should Drink It

Extraordinary coffee, intense yet balanced, supporting a giddy avalanche of aromatic complexity.
