Elida Estate Natural by PT's Coffee Review | CoffeeReview.com
93
Roast: Medium-Light Review Date: September 2013
Origin: Boquete growing region, western Panama Price: $19.98/12 ounces

Blind Assessment: Rich, deep, brandy-toned. Brandy, rose-like flowers, dark chocolate, pineapple-like fruit in aroma and in immense, opulent cup. Roundly rich acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Rather heavy finish, though the extravagance of the cup is worth it.

Notes: This is a dry-processed or "natural" coffee, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit rather than after the fruit has been removed, as is the case with wet-processed or "washed" coffees. Elida Estate is one of Panama’s most distinguished farms. Roasted at PT’s Coffee, where the motto is “without the love, it’s just coffee.” Visit www.ptscoffee.com or call 888-678-5282 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Adventurers and those who have no issue with glorious excess.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
