Panama Lerida Estate by Temple Coffee Review | CoffeeReview.com

Roast: Medium Review Date: July 2013
Origin: Boquete growing region, western Panama Price: $17.50/12 ounces

Blind Assessment: Intensely and lushly pungent. Dark chocolate, cedar, lychee-like fruit, lilac in aroma and cup. Brisk, low-toned but vibrant acidity; full, satiny, lively mouthfeel. Flavor consolidates but persists in a rich, very mildly drying finish.

Notes: Lerida is one of the most celebrated of Panama farms; Lot 9 represents coffee grown at the second-highest elevation on the farm. From trees of the Caturra and Catuai varieties of Arabica. Who Should Drink It: Those who enjoy a strong-structured, aromatically complex classic cup.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
