Coffee Review - Tanzania Ruvuma by Lexington Coffee
93
Roast: Medium Review Date: April 2013
Origin: Ruvuma growing region, southwestern Tanzania. Price: $12.25/12 ounces

Blind Assessment: Sweetly and pungently bright; complex. Honey, flowers, black currant, roasted cacao nib, a pungent hint of pine in aroma and cup. Sweet, softly lively acidity; plush, velvety mouthfeel. Clean, rich, slightly drying finish.

Notes: Produced by small-holding growers in the Ruvuma growing region, near Lake Nyasa in southwestern Tanzania, from trees of the heirloom Bourbon and the Arusha varieties. Who Should Drink It: A balanced, comfortable coffee with a plush mouthfeel and flavor notes ranging from pungently crisp to lushly sweet.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
