Review of Parisi Coffee Sumatra Mandheling
88
Roast: Medium-Dark Review Date: April 2010
Origin: Mandheling growing region, northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Price: $9.00 / 12 oz.

Blind Assessment: Mild earth-toned aroma with hints of chocolate and soft nut. Full body, creamy mouthfeel and flavors that tend toward an earthy pungency with a pronounced dark chocolate complication. The pungent edge lingers long into the dry finish.

Notes: Parisi Artisan Coffee is the specialty coffee division of Parisi Brothers Specialty Foods, a family owned business involved in many aspects of the food and beverage industry, including manufacturing, importing and distributing of a wide variety of specialty foods. Visit www.parisicoffee.com or call 877-345-5282 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: A chocolate-dominated cup with soft earthy nuance. Will likely take well to whiteners and sweeteners.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
