Roast: Medium Review Date: February 2006
Origin: Colombia Price: NA

Blind Assessment: Sweet-toned, deeply roasty aroma, with cedar, chocolate, sweet orange and floral complication. Simplifies a bit in the cup, but displays a simple, powerful richness with muted, tight-knit complexity: chocolate, cedar, pruny dry plum. Cleanly rich in the finish.

Notes: Certified organically grown and shade-grown. Full City is a traditional description for a coffee brought to a style of roast that hovers just on the sweet cusp between medium and dark. The "A&E" in A&E Roastery references Adam and Emeran, respectively roastmaster and owner of this wholesale and retail microroaster specializing in organically grown coffees. Who Should Drink It: Those who want a little roast with their fruit and chocolate.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
