Reviews for Faustino Coffee
Great range of aromatic and flavor sensation. Bright, sweet-toned and floral, but with molasses, mushroom, moist wood and rich musk notes deepening and complicating the profile. Delicate, brisk acidity; smoothly silky mouthfeel. Drying but sweet, mushroom-toned finish.
Very atypical aroma and flavor. Richly charred oak, overripe tomato, musk and faint floral and pear notes point toward a sort of minty, vegetal dark chocolate. Muted acidity; rather lean mouthfeel. A drying astringency dominates in the finish, drowning out sweetness and flavor.
Sharply and richly pungent. Scorched cedar, rosemary-like herb, hidey leather, with hints of floral top notes. Bittersweet, backgrounded acidity; very lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor almost resolves into chocolate in a sweet but heavily astringent finish.
Bittersweet, sharply pungent, earthy. Pungent fir, overripe plum, sweet earth that collectively leans toward chocolate in aroma and cup. Heavy, bitter-toned acidity; heavy mouthfeel. The overripe fruit and earth notes hint at chocolate in the short finish, but turn astringent and composty in the long.
Richly and sharply pungent. Dark chocolate, overripe fruit, roasted nut, oak in aroma and cup. Muted acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Some flavor carries into a sweet but drying finish.
Round, sweet, simple. Fresh-cut fir, tangerine, moist fresh-fallen leaves, a hint of roasted nut in aroma and cup. Soft acidity; lively though slightly leanish mouthfeel. Some sweetness and richness in a straightforward finish.
