Blind Assessment

Resonantly floral and fruit-centered. Date, orange blossom, dark chocolate, agave syrup, pungent cedar in aroma and cup. Sweetly and roundly bright with deep savory-juicy acidity; plump, creamy mouthfeel. Coherent, complex, lingering finish.

Notes

Produced from the Udaini variety of Arabica and processed by the natural method (sun-dried in the whole fruit). Port of Mokha is an importer of specialty coffees from Yemen with a roasting operation in San Jose, California. Visit www.portofmokha.com for more information.

Bottom Line

A big, round, deeply resonant Yemen cup with pretty floral (think orange blossom) and date-like fruit impulses.
