|Ozone Park, New York
|Southwestern Puerto Rico.
Smoky and richly heavy in its aromatics, but rather musty and monotoned in the cup. The musty tones, as they often do in Sumatras, hint at positive associations like spice and a sort of rough chocolate, but ultimately are too hard and unresilient to sustain too positive a reading.
Yauco Selecto is one of two Puerto Rico coffees currently exported outside the island. Dallis Bros. is a family owned business that is both wholesale roaster and importer of fine specialty coffee, and has long occupied a leadership position in the specialty industry. Who Should Drink It
