Evaluated as a green coffee sample-roasted to light-medium. Delicately sweet-tart, richly aromatic. Violet, tangerine, ginger, hazelnut, sugar cane in aroma and cup. Sweet-tart acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Flavor-saturated finish centered around notes of ginger and tangerine.
Produced by Wilton Benitez of Granja Paraiso 92, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed using proprietary techniques involving detailed control of disinfection, fermentation, drying and storage. Supplied as a green (unroasted) coffee. Roasted for evaluation purposes by Coffee Review on an ARC S sample roaster. Note that this coffee roasted on other equipment using different parameters may net a different sensory profile and rating than described in this review. Also note that this rating is on the Coffee Review scale, the same scale on which we rate roasted coffees available retail in the specialty marketplace.
