Blind Assessment

Crisply chocolaty, sweetly nut-toned. Baking chocolate, cashew, orange zest, date, gardenia in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned with gentle acidity; crisp, lightly satiny mouthfeel. The gently drying finish centers around bittersweet chocolate notes.

Notes

Produced and roasted by Finca El Rey in Veracruz, Mexico. Certified USDA Organic. Founded in 1954 by Italian immigrants, Finca El Rey is still family-owned and operated by third-generation Reynaldo Bernardi. Visit soloalto.com for more information.

Bottom Line

A friendly, accessible Mexico cup: richly chocolaty and supported by sweet nut, fruit and floral tones.
