Bittersweet and herby. Dried spearmint, cinnamon stick, caramel popcorn, alyssum in aroma with continued hints in the cup. Bittersweet structure, smooth but lean mouthfeel. The caramel popcorn note shows up faintly in a simple finish.

Bottom Line

This is Nguyen Coffee Supply’s medium-roasted Robusta. The Nguyen pitch, story and characters are quite appealing; this coffee shows a pleasing aroma but pretty much loses its way in a dry, herby cup.
