Blind Assessment
Floral-toned, richly fruity. Narcissus, strawberry, blood orange, cocoa nib, myrrh in aroma and cup. Sparkling, vibrant acidity; lively, viscous mouthfeel. Harmonious, resonant, decisively coherent finish that fulfills the promise of the cup.
Notes
Produced by Qing Ye, entirely of the So'ngna variety of Arabica (discovered to be a pure genetic landrace variety from Ethiopia), and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). GK Coffee is a nano-roastery in Yilan, Taiwan, that offers both retail and wholesale coffee. For more information, visit www.gkcoffee.com.tw or email gkcoffee2015@gmail.com.
Bottom Line
A beautiful washed Alishan-grown rare variety recently discovered in Taiwan — high-toned like a Geisha, floral and deep. A very satisfying experience in the cup.
