Blind Assessment:

Richly sweet, spice-toned. Cocoa powder, cinnamon, oak, lily, lemongrass in aroma and cup. Sweet structure with gentle, round acidity; full, velvety mouthfeel. The finish centers on cocoa and lily-like flowers with a hint of lemongrass.

Produced by Celeste Fumagalli of Gold Grains Coffee. This is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the beans immediately after harvesting and before drying. The Bottom Line: A resonantly sweet Guatemala cup with notes of warming spices and cocoa powder throughout.
