Blind Assessment

Sweetly spice-toned, crisply nutty. Cashew butter, nutmeg, caramel, orange zest, hint of mace in aroma and cup. Gentle, round acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Quiet nut-driven finish with undertones of orange zest.

Notes

Produced by Celestin and Marie Rumernerangabo, entirely of the Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Beacon Coffee Roasters is a Bozeman, Montana-based roaster specializing in small-batch, fair trade-certified coffees from all over the world. Visit www.beaconroasters.com for more information.

Bottom Line

A friendly, accessible washed Rwanda with appealing sweet nut and delicate spice notes.
