Blind Assessment: Lush, ripe cherry and table grape in aroma and cup, complemented by a dry, savory cedar note, particularly in the cup. Crisp, delicately balanced acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Simple but rich finish.
Notes: Rwanda's impressive potential as fine coffee producer has come to fruition over the last several years owing to the industry of its growers, generous support from international aid agencies and the commitment of North American specialty coffee roasters. Equator is a specialty roaster based in the San Francisco Bay Area driven by “passion for quality and sustainability.” Visit www.equatorcoffees.com or call 800-809-7687 for more information.
Who Should Drink It: Those who enjoy fruity/oaky red table wines and dried-in-the-fruit Ethiopia coffees.
