Blind Assessment: Chocolaty and richly wood-framed. Dark chocolate, fresh-cut pine, magnolia, pink peppercorn, golden raisin in aroma and cup. Sweetly tart structure with pert acidity; crisp, velvety mouthfeel. Richly drying, chocolaty finish.
Notes: Produced by Mohamed Ahmed Al Rumaim entirely of the Udaini variety of Arabica and processed by the natural method (sun-dried in the whole fruit). The Bottom Line: A friendly, easygoing Yemen cup with a profile highlighting rich chocolate and sweetly rich aromatic wood.
