Blind Assessment: Impressive aroma: crisp but smooth, rich, with butter, lavender, dark chocolate notes, a hint of toast. Big-bodied and balanced in the cup, but the aromatics simplify: continued dark chocolate with a touch of citrus and lavender. Rich, sweet short finish with a slight astringency in the long.

Notes: No decaffeination process is listed, suggesting that this Colombia was decaffeinated by the conventional or direct solvent method. Supremo is the highest grade of Colombia coffee based on fewest physical imperfections and largest bean size.
