Blind Assessment: Richly fruit-toned, chocolaty. Dried raspberry, dark chocolate, sandalwood, almond, freesia-like flowers in aroma and cup. Sweetly tart in structure with round, gentle acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Fruit- and chocolate-centered in the finish as well, with pretty freesia notes.
Notes: Produced by Graciano Cruz of the Typica and Caturra varieties of Arabica and processed by the dry or natural method. The Bottom Line : A heady coffee with clean, confident fruit notes throughout, supported by deep chocolate and spice-toned florals.
