Blind Assessment

Deep-toned, chocolaty. Dark chocolate, graham cracker, marshmallow, dried cranberry, lily in aroma and cup. Sweet in structure with gentle, round acidity; very syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Chocolaty finish with floral undertones.

Notes

Produced on the Amuliba Estate from trees of the Typica and Bourbon varieties of Arabica and processed by the washed method. Tsekaka is both the local language and the name of the tribal group that farms this land. Magnolia Coffee is a Charlotte-based specialty roaster whose motto is “Craft roasted. Truly delicious. Socially conscious.” Magnolia particularly emphasizes community engagement through its Local Beans for Local Good programs. Visit www.magnoliacoffeeco.com for more information.

Bottom Line

Like s’mores in a cup: sweet, chocolate-driven with notes of marshmallow and graham cracker.
