Blind Assessment: Richly sweet, caramel-toned. Caramel, grapefruit zest, magnolia, oak, a hint of thyme in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned structure with gentle acidity; very full, syrupy mouthfeel. Caramelly finish with undertones of grapefruit zest and oak.
Notes: Produced by smallholding farmers in Kenta Village of the Typica, Arusha and Bourbon varieties of Arabica and processed by the washed method. The Bottom Line : A solid PNG cup, deeply sweet and balanced, with an especially attractive, vibrant acidity.
