Don Francisco's Coffee
Papua New Guinea
|Roaster Location:||Vernon, California|
|Coffee Origin:||Cental Papua New Guinea|
|Review Date:||July 2008|
Sweetly and lavishly tart aroma: orange, butterscotch, hints of nut and cherry. In the cup quiet, vibrant acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, continued orange and cherry notes with suggestions of dry berry and chocolate. Simple but rich finish.
Papua New Guinea, which occupies the eastern half of the enormous island of New Guinea, produces a wide variety of coffees, some of which rank among the world's most interesting and distinctive. Don Francisco's is the upscale specialty coffee line of F. Gavina & Sons, the large, family-owned-and-operated roasting company in the Los Angeles area. Don Francisco's is named after Francisco Gavina, the Cuban-born father of the Gavina clan.Visit www.donfranciscos.com or call 800-428-4627 for more information.
