Blind Assessment: Raisiny cocoa and a hint of night flowers in the soft, understated aroma. In the cup round and delicately melodic: gently rich acidity, silky to lightly syrupy mouthfeel, cherryish fruit with continued hints of cedar and night flowers. Balanced, slightly dry finish.
Notes: This is a wet-processed or "washed" coffee produced by the award-winning Elida Estate. Coffee Klatch is an award-winning small-batch roasting company in the Los Angeles area whose resident barista and trainer, Heather Perry, won both the 2003 and 2007 United States Barista Championships brewing a Coffee Klatch espresso blend. Who Should Drink It: A subtle, quietly complex coffee in the classic Panama style.
