Blind Assessment
Reviewed as espresso. Deep, sweetly pungent, round. Dark chocolate, fresh-cut cedar, hints of plum, anise and lily-like flowers in aroma and small cup. Syrupy mouthfeel; the cedar note in particular carries into a resonant finish. Maintains a fat, balanced presence in three parts milk, led by a dry dark chocolate.
Notes
The Testa Rossa brand was established in 1994. Roasting and production is performed at a roastery founded in 1919 in the Veneto region of northern Italy. The current blend particularly depends on Brazil Arabica coffees from Alta Mogiana, one of Brazil’s most traditional and respected growing regions. Testa Rossa is distributed in the U.S. and Canada by European US Trading, headquartered in New York City, and can be purchased on Amazon. Visit www.testarossa-coffee.com for more information.
Who Should Drink It
Classic Italian espresso: balanced, deep, resonant, dominated by a crisply cedary chocolate that carries persuasively into milk.
