Blind Assessment

A quietly distinctive, rather delicate coffee. Low-toned aroma with crisp nut notes and hints of flowers and apricotish fruit. In the cup soft acidity, light but silky mouthfeel, ripe lemon and continued nut, apricot and floral hints. Simple, sweet finish.

Notes

Certified organically grown. Flores is an island in Indonesia, part of a chain of islands that extends east of Java and Bali. With a recent focus on quality and assistance from international aid groups, Flores is beginning to create a name for itself in specialty coffee circles.
