Intensely sweet, round fruit swoons toward milk chocolate in the aroma. Simplifies in the cup, the aromatics dominated by an intense acidity that is properly sweet but -- perhaps owing to its sheer intensity -- lacks an impression of depth and fruit.
Certified organically grown and Fair-Traded, meaning the farmer was paid a formula-defined "fair" price for his coffee. Surf City Coffee is a small-batch, primarily wholesale roaster located in the lively community around the University of California at Santa Cruz. Visit
