Crisp, roundly and sweetly zesty. Cedar, lemon zest, blackberry, pistachio, rose-like flowers in aroma and cup. Quietly tart and very sweet-toned in structure; full and syrupy in mouthfeel. Flowers, blackberry and pistachio all carry into a resonant, sweet-savory finish.
This coffee tied for the third-highest rating in a cupping of Value Coffees for Coffee Review‘s March 2018 tasting report. Produced on Finca Libre farm by Pil Hoon Seu from trees of the respected Catuai variety of Arabica. Processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying). A determined sweetness and plump mouthfeel round and harmonize tart citrus and crisp cedar and nut notes.
