Blind Assessment

Big, sweetly bright, classic. Honey, tangerine, rose-like flowers, a hint of roasted cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Grand, lushly bright acidity; light, silky mouthfeel. Rich, resonant, floral-toned finish.

Notes

La Esperanza is a medium-sized, high-altitude farm in San Pedro Necta in the admired Huehuetenango growing region. Produced from trees of the heirloom Bourbon and sturdy Caturra varieties of Arabica. Terroir is a microroaster focusing on elite single-origin coffees. It was a pioneer in the revival of medium roast styles designed to foreground the character of the green coffee.
